Our Client is one of the major global mining houses and they operate the largest lead and silver mine in the world. They are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Metallurgist to lead their technical group as the Principal Metallurgist for their Queensland based operation.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and will enjoy a hands on approach, to provide technical direction and leadership to their metallurgy and operations staff.

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

* Degree Qualification in Metallurgy or Mineral Processing.
* 5-10 years of experience in technical, or operational roles, within the Mining Industry
* Highly developed skills and knowledge in mineral processing and the flotation process.
* Excellent interpersonal and management skills
* Management and facilitation of processing plant improvement processes.
