Principal duties will include:

* Planning/Design development projects
* Technical support to the operating mines
* Technical support to the Technical Services Group
* Capital projects review and analysis
* Project Improvement
* Mining Studies
* LOM Projects

Broad experience, skills and abilities are required in the following areas:

*
Minimum of 15 years experience in the mining industry with at least 7 years in mine planning positions.
*
Extensive experience in underground mine planning.
*
Good communication and presentation skills both oral and written.
*
Self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
*
Previous experience at working in Africa would be well regarded.
*
Relevant computer skills in word processing, spread sheeting and mine planning
