Our Client is a nickel mining and exploration company. Its principal asset is a 100% interest in their Nickel Project located 400 km east of Perth, Western Australia. The company is mining and developing a high grade nickel mine and is spending approximately A$12 million per annum on exploration aimed at building resources and discovering new deposits.
PT. Jembayan Muarabara has a coal mining project at East Kalimantan. Skilled and highly committed people are invited to join The team at PT. Jembayan Muarabara, a member of STRAITS Asia Resources for the following poeitions:
1. Mechanic
2. Driller
3. Geology Data Base Administrator
4. Drilling Supervisor

1. Mechanic
Responsibilities:
• Organizes crews
• Maintains and repairs rig SCS 150, air core, tractors, power rigs, vehicles, generators, etc
• Keep an updated report of all equipments, vehicles and condition of workshop.
Requirements:
• Min. D3 mechanical engineering
• Min. 5 years experience in mechanics
• Familiar with Microsoft Office.
• Able to work as a team work, under pressure and independently with minimum supervision
2. Driller
Responsibilities:
• Organizes the crews to undertake a project
• Able to operate air core, SCS rig
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years experience in drilling
• Able to operate air core and SCS rig
• Able to work as a team work, and under pressure
3. Geology Data Base Administrator
Responsibilities:
• Technical administration
• Compilation of GIS data and maintenance of GIS and drilling database
• Undertake the remote sensing tasks
Requirements:
• Minimum S1 in Geology
• Minimum 2 years experience in geology data base
• Familiar with Map Info, Surpac, Geosoft Acquire, Arc View Software, and Ms.Office
• Able to work as a team work, under pressure and independently with minimum supervision
4. Drilling Supervisor
Responsibilities:
• Organizes crews, drillers, and mechanics to undertake a project according to required schedule
• Manages the drilling equipments
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years experience in drilling
• Able to operate drilling rig
• Good communication in English
• Familiar with computer literate
• Able to work as a team work, under pressure, independently with minimum supervision
